Learning to let go - don't force it

Description
Hey, guys, welcome back to Rant Room! This is quite a short one because I am totally exhausted after a long drive home and a long day in general. Maybe even a long week. Today I took two pretty huge steps (not the kind that Fitbit records unfortunately, think I've hit my step target once since the beginning of September 😂) - I moved to uni properly, and also managed to find the courage to let some bad feelings go after a long time. I'm pretty sure most of us know how that works, right? Not the easiest thing to do, and to be honest, it doesn't get any easier. That's the bad news. The good news is that realising you need to let go of bad energy creates room for better energy and helps develop your self worth. Why? Because you're not putting up with b******t, or at least, you're putting up with less b******t. Whether that's an argument with your family, a friend who is sort of wrapped up in themselves, someone getting on your nerves at work, or being ghosted by someone you care about. Could be anything, but I do know that forcing things never works. The band Saint Motel described it as "puzzle pieces that don't fit together" in one of their songs. And they've got a point. There is a high chance that this podcast makes 0 sense because I'm half asleep. There's an even higher chance that the description makes even less sense. But happy listening regardless ❤

Ranting for the sake of ranting, somehow. I found a meme page that pissed me off this morning, I'm burnt out, hungry and sick of the conditioning around being told that we should be obsessed with dating more than anything else.... what else is new?

Hey guys, welcome back to Rant Room 😊 I have wanted to talk about this for a while, as it's quite important to me. I put this episode off for quite a while as I was worried about sharing my perspective on it, but I definitely think it's a subject worth sharing. Thanks for listening and please...
