Especially during the last half-year of political craziness, the Rational Security podcast has lived up to its name, providing me with a life vest of invaluable and reasoned insight amidst these recent seas of political misinformation and lacking analysis. In all seriousness, I listen to a good number of policy-oriented podcasts, and this is one of the best. Shane, Ben, Tamara, and Susan cover important (and sometimes otherwise under-discussed) topics in a detailed and nuanced way. Substance aside (not that you'd ever want to put the substance completely aside...) they do a great job of riffing off each other's comments and viewpoints, and are entertaining to boot. Whatever your political or ideological leanings, this podcast is a must for those interested in national security issues.”Read full review »
