“I listen to alot of podcasts. The ex-obama staffers, the Vox's, the five thirty eights--my liberal bubble is more like a fortress of digital tears & schaudenfreude. I tried a libertarian one once, (i had a teenage dalliance with milton friedman) but once they questioned the legitimacy of bomb threats/violence at jewish cemeteries & synagongues, i decided to sign off--but these fellows at rational security--they are as good as it gets. funny, conversational, cheeky--with real knowledge, deep security policy thoughts, and unlike alot of oh-so-recently-thirtysomethings, they/ve been around the block. i suspect a couple are registered republicans, or pre-trump, use to be, but this isn/t about all that--its about keeping the world safe for our kids, our dogs, our coffee tables and alll the cask-strength scotches out there (and my gin collection). so start listening, everyone.”Read full review »
