Seemingly manipulative
So I got forwarded this podcast by a friend, but it seems to me that this podcast is deliberately misrepresenting and neglecting the facts of the events. For example, while we want to support the troops (though let’s be honest these men are mercenaries who for one reason or another didn’t join the military) the initial account of the events was written not by the results of an initial official investigation but by another black water mercenary within hours after the event. Additionally, military soldiers gave much different accounts then the mercenaries involved. This podcast feels less investigative and more a deliberate attempt at whitewashing.

These people killed 20 unarmed civilians and injured a hundred more because a racist wanted to enact vengeance against Muslims for 9/11. This podcast is an attempt to whitewash that history and it compounds a tragedy with the sun of attempting to rehabilitate the reputations of murderers.

This is such an important case. Politics should never outweigh lives.

I hope everyone really listen to this series! My 2nd cousin’s husband is Paul Slough and is one of the 4 men incarcerated because of this travesty. Thanks
