A grumpy and friendless old woman begrudgingly gives a weary traveler a bed for the night. In exchange the traveler gives the old woman a magic kerchief. Wearing her new kerchief, the old woman’s curt and hateful words come out compliments as warm as sunshine, bringing with it the riches of new found friends.
