“For the most part, I like this podcast. But I wish they would have a little perspective when reading things that are considered classic. In the noir episode, both could not finish classic noir and cited reasons that showed they shouldn’t be talking about books on this grand level. If you can’t read a book written in the 30’s or 40’s (or any other period) and understand the time it was written, then why are you talking about books. Maybe you need some more diversity in this podcast.”
