A must hear for any real crime enthusiast!
This is an amazing podcast. Unfortunately I just discovered it and am catching up on all the episodes. I have learned so much about coercive control and victimization I am thankful. I have been able to realize I was a victim of this in my own relationship. Even if you just review one of the famous cases they discuss you will gain such an appreciation of these concepts that it is definitely worth your time. I have a much better understanding of the OJ case, Oscar Pretorius case, Jerry Sandusky, and the Steve Avery case after listening. I see that a lot of comments object to Lisa’s presence or the way Jim and Laura treat her but I would disagree. Lisa serves as the link to the interested but untrained listener and her interactions prod Jim and Laura to more in depth explanations of their views. They are a great team and the way they talk to each other just a shows how committed and passionate they are to their individual positions. Though I don’t necessarily agree with everything they say I understand their reasoning. Bravo! I have been listening to the Epstein case and am disheartened by the political comments in some of the reviews. As someone who has no trust of any politician I don’t think that the comments about Trump were unfair. He did know the man and has commented on him. Also he appointed a cabinet member who was linked to this whole thing. I am sure they will get to Clinton and the others that were not Republicans as they continue there analysis. Anyway an excellent podcast and well with anyone’s time.

really interesting podcast, especially if you are interested in the behavioral analysis approach to analyzing crimes/subjects. definitely provided some new potential aspects to the Avery/dassey case that have been much needed in evaluation of the documentary and trial. can't wait to hear...Read full review »
