The real talk we need!
I have always struggled with disordered eating and migraines. I found Dana on Instagram during my first Whole30. Dana and the Whole30 community helped me a great deal. My migraines were gone and I learned so much about the food I should avoid. I truly thought my relationship with food was improving. Fast forward 2 years and I realized the Whole30 transformed my disordered eating into orthorexia. It was no longer about calorie counting... now it was a fear of “chemicals and processed food”. I think the Whole30 is a great program but you need to be careful with it. I am no longer doing any rounds of Whole30 and I completely understand why Dana wanted to move away from the program. This is the first time since being a teenager where I’m not obsessing on every little thing I eat. I’m finally developing a good relationship with food and my body. And I’ve never felt better! I support everything you’re doing, Dana! Keep it up!

I did a whole30 5 years ago and I share many of the same feelings that you shared in this podcast. A very interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing!

I have really enjoyed her perspective on body image and stopping the body hatred. I wish I had known all of this 15 years ago when I first got on the yo yo dieting bandwagon. I am so on board with her approach of moderation when it comes to food and eating as well as exercise.
