“My friend sent me an episode back in the summer and straight away I found Lisa’s straight talking parenting tips so utterly useful. It was like everything she said during that episode was resonating with me and my experience even though we have a different family setup to hers. I went on straight away to carry on walking and listening to the first 4 episodes- bam bam bam! I’ve since gone back and re listened to them and taken more time over them! But I knew that her advice was good solid practical stuff that I could use. And it all makes so much sense. And 20 minutes? Awesome…. as a busy mum of 2 small boys and 2 bigger stepsons, I need something that can fit into my life easily- on a walk, in the car, something that doesn’t need an hour of listening. And with this twenty minutes come pearls of wisdom on parenting that I can then put into practise. I have shared so many of her episodes with friends, and am trying to implement what I’m learning. It’s hard sometimes- my boys are lively little beings! - and I have realised so much of it is all about the way I react, but having Lisa’s podcasts and tips to keep going back to and listening to an episode again to remind me and keep me in check, is helping so much to create a more peaceful parent and household. Huge huge thanks Lisa for what you’re doing. It’s an incredible podcast, the 20 minutes is perfect, and the advice and tips you offer are gold. X nicola”
