Grace and hold space during the hurricane!!!
I totally related to today’s podcast! What a simple tweak needed in my parenting. This happened just last night with my 6 year old. He tripped coming up the stairs and cried through his entire shower. My husband was trying to distract him and I wanted my husband to “fix” it and make the storming stop. After his shower, I had my son show me where he got hurt. I hugged him and let him cry. My son didn’t need us to “fix” it. He just needed to cry. I also liked when Lisa said that storming is their way of moving the feelings through their body! I need to learn that as an adult!!! I want to work on not rushing the storm this week. -Viv F.
