We are back with another episode of the podcast to discuss the US Open 2023. If we had any good sense, we should have recorded this episode on the Saturday after the women's final. However, with foolish hope and unwise optimism we waited until after the men's final thinking Meddy could produce some magic. We got Meddy mess instead.  For this episode we invited Howard Bryant, ESPN Sports Journalist and favourite guest on the show. We do not pay him as he has a serious job that pays his...

The end of the singles action at this year's Wimbledon has brought us out of hibernation. We couldn't let it go unrecorded that we were besides ourselves as Carlos Alcaraz took down Novaxx at Centre Court Wimbledon!!! We just had to get on a hot mic and let yall in. Sorry for those who missed the live episode but here it is.  We got into this classic thriller of a match on the men's side and talked a lil bit of the women's final. Eubanks got a lot of love. We really need to get back to the...

So we are opening the 2023 pro tennis season with our Australian Open 2023 wrap up! It was a long tournament in some respect but it is apparent that our love and interest in the sport seem to be waning.  As always we got into our feelings on this matter. Can we really remain those committed fans as before with so much going on and the messy coverage of the sport? We spoke about that as well as the state of the men's game. Is Nole really injured or extremely injured? What of Sabalenka's rise...

We would not be the RealzTenisFanz Podcast if we did not do a special episode on the legacies of both Roger Federer and Serena Williams. So we are back again after another unfortunate delay to bring you our official "200th Episode" Yes this is magical accounting but we made this historic number an important milestone for all of us for it is all about Serena Williams. It is Wimbledon time again and fortunately there are no more slipping and falling on the grass. However, on the other hand, there is no Federer.... but he was on Centre Court!! Why is there even a tournament? Nonetheless, this is a major so we are here for it. Things got very spicy as we discussed the Serena sighting, Nick's tactic or tactless and Wimbledon's covid policy or lack there of. is Divadal really gonna take this grand slam As always we are getting into it as only we can.  Don't...

We do not have the audacity to say we are back because we might end up going missing again. But we decided to get together to talk about what is happening in the world of professional tennis seeing as we tried to put the French Open in some context. Yet so much has happened in our absence. The WTA lost their No. 1 but gained a new one. What does this mean? Coco is a star but she is not a major winner. Rafael Nadal is on a tear like it is 2010 again. He has won his 14th French Open title and...

Sooooo Andreen and Janina decided to go vacationing without moi, Realz and they even brought along their friend Jaz! The audacity!!! What's even more maddening is that they have a great time and sent me pictures of their adventures!  Well you get to hear all about it on this episode of the podcast as they were there allegedly for a tennis event, ATP 500 Acapulco. Though it turns out that not everyone there had tennis on her mind.  The ladies gave us all El Tea in Mexico. Should we even...

The final major is upon us and we are back in the "studio" to bring you another live and hilarious take on the singles draws. We invited Pablo (@anBhanna) again who is over on the other side of the pond because we like to torture our guests. We were supposed to get into the draws on the theme of Broadway but the news and our own outings at tournaments lead for most of the discussion. Yes we did get into the Zverev angle and also touched on Naomi Osaka .... Yeah Nole is trying to do a thing...

So we are FINALLY at the end of the 2021 Wimbledon. We brought Pablo (@anBhanna) back to close this mess. Nole has achieved No. 20 and what does this even mean? Poor Matteo! Should we really allow these 3 dudes to keep winning majors? What of the women's final? Barty has a 2nd major and Pliskova still has none. We cover all this and other affairs in the world of tennis.  Do note that Janina abandoned us midway through the podcast for soccer! Traditor!! Don't forget that the discussion...

So we are on our final official Middle Sunday of Wimbledon and we have full coverage of everything that is grass related. We brought Pablo (@anBhanna) back to get us through this mess. We get into the slippery nature of the surface. Who is at fault? What can be done? No Serena!!! Almost no Federer but we still have Coco and an exciting finale ahead for the women's draw. A breakout star is about to shine. Will it be Ons or Emma? Yeah Nole is around on the men's side! Who will earn the right to...

We also get into some of the news regarding the newly organized PTPA and the news conference.  So who do you have going all the way? Who do you see stumbling out of the blocks. We are back with another exciting episode of RTF Podcast and we have a guest. One of our favourite guests, Howard Bryant of ESPN came to chat. We are discussing the dynamics of the Press v the Player v the People in Charge. Did Naomi Osaka make a power move perceived as a potential power grab by tennis institutions? What is really going on behind the scenes? What is the function of tennis press is they aren't providing in depth pieces about the sport? Is tennis a dying professional sport? Can...

So the French Open decided that it was gonna show its whole ass and act irresponsibly and irrationally to one player, Naomi Osaka's request for a break from press conferences. Instead of focusing on the tournament at hand which is happening during a whole pandemic, the tennis establishment and tennis journalists decided to pour on more madness to the fire. Well we are here to give you the full and only take on the matter.  PS. Don't worry about us not doing a draw show because at this...
