Oxford style debate
I just listened to the episode of a debate over abolishing the sex offender registry. Other than the topic, what I found most fascinating was the debate format, the Oxford style. They had the audience vote for or against the proposition before the debate, then after the debate and some Q&A, they voted again. The side that saw the biggest increase in votes won the debate. They call out liberals for overreacting to certain things while simultaneously overreacting to everything about the government. Self awareness is nonexistent it seems. There are plenty of countries that have little to no government, why don’t the go see how they fair in one of them.

The interview podcasts are very good. The group discussions are also good, except for Nick Gillespie, who should not participate. His unfocused emotional profanity laced rants add nothing except irritation. He is fine when interviewing, though. Otherwise the discussions are thought provoking...Read full review »
