Star Wars, pop culture, and Clone Wars
RebelForce Radio is the successor to the popular ForceCast podcast. The show had three primary types of content. First, the hosts, Jimmy Mac and Jason, discuss Star Wars in the news, such as Star Wars in pop culture or recent news (such as the infamous Darth Vader's robbing a bank). Second, the ForceCast hosted roundtable discussions about Clone Wars episodes. These were highlights, especially when joined by Paul Bateman. Finally, since the new movies were announced, there was a lot more content dedicated to speculating about the new films. RebelForce Radio is the new home of Jimmy Mac and Jason. There are two things about this show that make it particularly worth listening to. First, Jason and Jimmy Mac are well connected. They regularly have high-profile guests on the show (hence Dave Filoni in their episode). They're able to really engage with the stars on a personal level. Second, the production quality on the show is very good. It's fast and keeps you engaged. I do hope RebelForce Radio spends more time discussing philosophical/ethical/character and other aspects of the Star Wars universe, rather than Star Wars in pop culture. I think with the new station, Jason and Jimmy Mac have the potential to really take the show to a new level and not just react to news, but also to expand the discussion. Good luck!Read full review »

Jason and Jimmy Mac, greatest pod-casters this side of Korriban. I smelt something fishy going on with the Force-cast not having any shows available lately, but my fears were unfounded when I saw the announcement for their new venture. CANNOT wait for show one, may the force be with you, always!

These guys were my constant companions when, I walked the dog, washed the dishes. The Forcecast was a fantastic way to find out Star Wars news . However much...Read full review »
