“I will listened to anything covered by Geoff Turner after his brilliant series “On Drugs”. Similar to his previous work, Turner calls on his listeners to consider events with a much deeper understanding of context. The first two episodes have floored me by showing that the “October crisis” was far more complex and nuanced than I had been led to believe in the 30 minutes spent on the subject in my very anglo-Ontario history class. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes and hope this is the start of a new series of explorations from this team.”

“Hearing the separatists talk about Anglo supremacy in Québec in the 1950s kind of reminds me of growing up as an anglophone in Québec in the 1990s. I live in Ontario now because it is impossible to find a job as an Anglo in Québec today. Funny how things go”
