“It’s fun to hear David Chang and his teammates making and learning from their mistakes. I get tired of the 30 second bits where people show how perfectly they cook on social media. It’s also refreshing to encounter a non-Eurocentric kitchen where Asian and Latin American cuisine is enjoyed without “othering” it. It asserts America as home for many busy, diverse people making meals for their families, yet stay open to learning more.”
