Thank you for the show.
I'm in Al Anon. I was driven there to understand my stbx's huband's alcoholism what I found was not what I expected. An entirely new spiritual life with continuous growth, and a whole new understanding to my part in this mess. Shows like Recovered are a phenomenal reminder of the strength found in the group(s) and 12 step community. I listen from Miami and it's neat to have a wider connection than just South Florida recovery. I love the various topics and how the show is segmented and combined with variation from the mundane housekeeping issues, phenomenal clips of famous Founder's Day shares, all the way to how addiction is portrayed in the media. The added treat of music weaved throughout! Wonderful music, I must add. I am very sorry about the loss of your son, I nearly cried when I heard you speak of the pain in your soul. Please know that sharing your pain increased my gratitude for the time I have with my 2 sons.Read full review »

And then it's wrapped up with a pretty good speaker cut, like...Read full review »
