Funny ladies but self-admittedly misandrous
New listener! I enjoy when they get into talking about the show, and will occasionally crack up at a great joke—but the hosts have an uncomfortable relationship with feminism that leans into misandry. I cringed at their disdain for a male acquaintance who took their "joke" of inviting a male host onto the show seriously. Honestly, I'd be embarrassed to listen to this out loud in front of my partner when they get into the unnecessary man-bashing. :/Read full review »

I actually had to stop watching The Handmaid's Tale after the first episode because it was too real, but I kept listening to the podcast because it (a) is so much fun, (b) discusses the issues on the show in a slightly less traumatic format, and (c) is very well informed and up-to-date....Read full review »

I found this podcast when I started watching Alias Grace on Netflix. After listening to a couple of episodes, I went back and listened to all of the Handmaid's Tale episodes. I enjoy their banter and their breakdown of these amazing and dark stories.Read full review »
