Half of the already extremely short episodes are about the mountain of evidence in binders and how one man has to look through it, then catalog it. *yawn*

I find out about this podcast from listening to CrimeJunkie. I won’t lie. I didn’t expect myself to get addicted to the show. Anyway good show to listen to while I am working. Keep up the good work.

Such a great perspective to share with us. Looking forward to other cold case investigations. Also have followed Ashley around to all her other shows and they are equally amazing, chilling, attention grasping. I listen all day while at work and on my drives, she brought me into the world of...Read full review »

Kind of peters out, is there a missing episode? Was promised revelations but then nothing…

I’ve been binge listening to crime junkies and when you mentioned this case and this podcast I had to immediately come listen. I love your podcasts and the way you tell the stories and always keep them interesting. Keep them coming.

One of very few true crime storytellers out there who’s concise, descriptive, and as objective as possible. Ashley does not f* around!! Now that I’m back in Indy, this case hits home even more. Thank you for bringing it back into the spotlight!
tozzlewad via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/27/21
Interesting case, but could have been one episode. 7 minute intros each time was too much.
bekieboooooo via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/30/21
My mother knew one of the victims, we do need to figure out what happened. Justice for the four!!

You need to continue this story! I expected an arrest.
Tacobutt2011 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/23/21
Each episode has useless information in it to string it along through 4 episodes. Ending is terrible. The only good podcast she produces is Crime Junkie. This could have been made into a episode.
pamela58778 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/25/21
It seems like they pulled you in, told a story and left it at a deadens stop. Wish there was more of a “conclusion”
SenoritaHappyPants via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/12/21
This was such a well thought out series and it was so interesting to hear about not only this case but also the process involved in investigating it! I like the way she consciously respects all of the different aspects surrounding this case and details the ways in which reporting on cases can...Read full review »

Ashley tried hard to pull a Serial vibe here but it just fell flat on its face. It seemed to be she didn’t enough material for a podcast and it ended vaguely. And the whole thing about podcasters getting a bad rap schtick was too rehearsed. Interesting case, sadly not much progress from what I...Read full review »

I get what the podcast was attempting, but given how it was unfolding for the officer working with her and the way it needed to be ended, it should’ve been chalked up to a good idea that didn’t turn out to be worth airing. Very confused as to why it was released.
SHRM Member via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/02/21
She should just stick to crime junkie. This doesn’t even finish the story. Only reason why crime junkie is as good as it is is because she stole all the content from everyone else even the name she stole from court junkie which is an amazing podcast by the way!
Emmieshere via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/24/21
Possibly the worst podcast ever. How does she say so little in 4 episodes? I had to listen to other podcasts to learn what happened after listening to her say nothing.

Thank you, Ashley! Amazing work as always!

I understand the basis but nothing is added and nothing interesting is released. Feels like a cash grab.

Ashley Flowers should be banned from publishing podcast! It doesn’t matter how many podcast she produces. They are all horrible!
fplayer1286 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/07/21
This podcast doesn’t wrap up the story or involve any new reporting. It’s not clear what the podcaster was intending to do.
Podcast Aficionado 2020 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/26/21
Seems like they just stopped reporting on this and never addressed it.
Mrs.MWL via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/13/21
??
Nothing really happens...not sure what I just listened to. I’d say the 4 episodes together probably had less content than one crime junkie episode.
ljj223 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/13/21
I’m ending the fourth episode just still so confused. The story was not easy to follow and could have provided more context into the victims and leads. I felt like this was too short..

More of this, please! Ditch Crime Junkie :)
Pippedoodle via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 05/07/21
So fake So unoriginal. Used to be a fan but anyone who can’t have any of their own thoughts is lame.
GmtKMk via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/26/21
too much background and narrator’s side story. I’m also not a fan that it’s unsolved and from so long ago. I’ll try another one of their podcasts. I heard the others are faster paced.
kendraslo via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/22/21
I already listen to Crime Junkie, Supernatural and now here on Red Ball. I have only listened to the first episode of Red Ball and I already give it a 5 star rating. Love how Ashley Flowers makes me want to listen to more of each story!
Bcynci24 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/12/21
This podcast shouldn’t have been made, it is so vague that I can’t ever see it making any difference in helping the investigation. I also feel like I really didn’t get an in depth look into how a cold case is investigated, everything is presented on a very surface level and isn’t very specific....Read full review »

BeeMagee via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/24/21
Too much narrator, not enough police. Stopped listening after the self aggrandizement and intro when I realized I was going to have to listen to the same voice for minutes on end. A good podcast includes a variety of speakers. The police agreed to participate, so let them talk.
CrimeFiend2 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/21/21
Would not recommend if you’re a true crime fan. There’s barely any discussion about the actual case, more talk about the police ish? Not sure how this got so many 5 stars.
Sosokes via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/20/21
Thank you for being light to true crime that I had never heard about before. I am listening to CrimeJunkies like crazy! Then I go online to investigate on my own as well. Thank you this was interesting and informative! Keep it up!
MMAE4 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/13/21
But didn’t. Like others have said, it felt unorganized and slow. I love Ashley Flowers but this was nothing like her other podcasts. I keep coming back thinking there has been an update or a storyline added. Nope. Time to unsubscribe.
Piperwaze via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/12/21
I’m so glad I listed to this Podcast because it finally made me give Crime Junkie a chance! Really enjoyed the way you told this story. I hope this brings much needed attention to a horrible crime.

I really enjoyed this podcast and how Ashley told the story of this case. The music composition was amazing as well. If any more episodes come out, I will definitely be giving them a listen!

I just started listening to this podcast it’s pretty good. Well produced.

I really liked this podcast. It’s my favorite from audiochuck, largely because Ashley Flowers does this one & does it alone. I just feel like I have no idea what the story is. I kept looking at my phone scrolling like .. I missed something. But nope this is just a complete disappointment. I rarely write bad review because I respect the effort taken to make the pod cast. But this here... is bad.

Huge Ashley Flowers fan, just disappointed to hear her use ‘hmm’s & huh’s’, dog analogy and unprofessional/ inappropriate banter. For anyone who hasn’t listened to crime junkie, they aren’t going to get that. Nor American street talk slang. How are international listeners meant to...Read full review »
