I keep coming back to this podcast in my mind. It was so compelling and well done. It felt like true investigative journalism that was sensitively and responsibly done. I’ve been aching for another season. Pleeeeeaaaassseee!!

Why is there no more episodes and just end. I thought it was doing a great job explaining the whole process and story. I wish the second season would of came out unless there is something that is holding it back and then I would like to know hey when the obstacle is overcome we will release the...Read full review »

this was a disappointment. I listened to 2.5 episodes and still I was waiting to hear the story. This podcast just babbled on about how the investigation unfolded or didn’t unfold over the last 40 years. Not worth my time.

This is an amazing podcast, I do miss Britt tho! Also, if you’ve already listened to other podcasts by Ashley and you didn’t like it, then just stop listening to others done by her. Don’t listen to it just so you can give it a bad review, it makes no sense. I love all of your podcasts,...Read full review »

For profit media personality who hides behind the illusion of being a journalist and someone who cares about the victims of stories like this.

Her podcast are all about money and trying to get as much as she can…. Monetizing a podcast in that way that she needs to tramp over victims and their families to get some money, and on top of that she plagiarized some podcasts and is very sad that they didn’t accept their “mistake” but they took...Read full review »

After reading some of these reviews, I was hesitant to give this one a try. I see what the others are saying and I get it - media relations/PR are more about relationships than anything. Interesting to see how she’s trying to build up the divide bw media and law enforcement in a new way —...Read full review »

Why are podcast reviews like a negative bathroom wall now? Brit isn’t even in this one yet she’s getting shade. Apparently a lot of people love them, considering they’re topping the charts. Stop bashing them so much! Make an even better podcast if you’re so knowledgeable :) Keep doing your thing...Read full review »

I’m about at my wit’s end with Crime Junkie because Brit makes me angry. THIS format, I like. No idiotic interruptions. I can focus more on the content. More of this please, Ashley!

As always, trash product from this creator. Or rather this plagiarizer. There are so many true crime podcasters who write their own material. Find one of them.
trjvbp via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/05/22
The story is interesting and I wanted to like it but the host worships these cops like a little kid talking about firefighters to the point it becomes too annoying to even listen.

The fact that Ashley was given information even the victims families didn’t know is absolutely disgusting.

Like some shows from this production house but this feels like copaganda

I’m totally confused by this podcast. There didn’t seem to be a point or even a story. Four short episodes of pretty much nothing.
Spod78 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/02/22
Some of these details the family didn’t even know, yet here is Flowers exploiting it. Disgusting.
rylo_ren_ via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/26/22
It’s hard to get excited about an Ashley Flowers production. Not only is her work basically just a gossip show, but she and her sidekick steal from real journalists and investigators.

…not ok to use the work of others without crediting them. Glad you’re doing that now, Ashley, but you need to apologize to those you’ve used in the past without crediting. Otherwise, you have no integrity. Also, it’s awful that you were given info from this cop that the victim’s family didn’t...Read full review »

This is soooooo boring I almost fell asleep listening to it... while I was walking. Mediocrity and plagiarism are totally normalized and rewarded. Hey Chuck, do you approve? I don’t know, does Elvis want a cookie? Full Body Cringe!

how can anyone in law enforcement work with her……so anti police in her other show, here she is on this show playing as though she is such a fan of the police, such a phony…..continues to steal the work of others……unreal

Don’t support people who steal the work of others. Ashley Flowers is a vapid moron and a known plagiarist. Do not support her “work.”

The publishing date is wrong. This was in 2019, not 2022 so I started listening to it thinking it was new and was not. It’s cool though- honest mistake I suppose

Ashley is trying so hard to branch out and produce new content with audiochuck, but she has stretched everything too thin. This podcast has barely any episodes and they are all just filler. I’ve been re listening because it was republished (I’m a little confused on why since it was originally done in 2019 not 2022) but I’m hoping that eventually there are episodes on updates about this investigation.

I loved this. Different in tone and style to Crime Junkies. It gives a lot of insight into why police make certain decisions with cold cases, and why they don’t do things we assume would be straight forward. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It is more chilled out in its pacing but still...Read full review »

I really liked this separate podcast from Crime Junkies. I liked how you explained the process of the police force and why police don’t reveal all the information of the case. Not much information on the murders. Short episodes, long intros. Seems like the project was pulled. Nothing substantive. I know less about this murder than a crime junkie episode. Crime junkie is awesome and she’s very charismatic but this podcast fell flat.
