Description
How do you get people to pay attention to your podcast? This is one of the most frequently-asked questions I get.   I wrote about this in my book, Big Podcast – Grow Your Podcast Audience, Build Listener Loyalty, and Get Everybody Talking About Your Show. But this is a big topic, so I wanted to share a couple of things I've seen from two companies in the podcasting space, Riverside and Focusrite, to get you to think about launching (and relaunching) in a different way.   One of the best things you can do to launch a podcast (or just about anything) is by "borrowing" an audience. This is why we see so many celebrities, experts, and "influencers" in ads.   But that's just part of the process. If it were easy to buy your way in, everybody would do it. You have to be skillful. And that's what I talk about in this episode, a three-part process for launching (or relaunching) a podcast that you can use.
