10/10 recommend
Thoughtful, warm, and provoking. I always feel like I come away from episodes mulling over a new or challenging idea, looking up the guest or musician to follow further, or sharing with a friend. Mason is a wonderful interviewer who makes complexities easy to understand even if you don’t come from a more academic religious background. 100% lives up to its tagline of inspiring and liberating theology!

You will have interludes of alternative music, that is interruptive and stark in contrast to the interview. I only listened to one, so it might be better on other episodes. The episode I am referencing here is the episode with Dr. Wil Gafney

Evangelicals give me a rash, and this podcast will probably give Evangelicals a rash. If you’re looking for a community that’s not churchy, oppressive, exclusive, or coming with the baggage of several centuries of white supremacy, I can’t recommend Religionless Church enough.
