“First time listening to this podcast. It overall seems informative. However, in my opinion, the credibility of the commentators was severely challenged when they began to discuss the Conservative’s levelling up policy and initially critiqued the government’s decision to largely send funds to the North of England. I question whether any of the commentators live in the North of England or have any spent any time there. As someone who spent ten years in the south of England and now lives up north, there is a stark difference between the quality of services in the north and south of England. It’s right Richmond should get levelling up funding and the commentators come off out of touch with reality when challenging that decision.
My god these guys are just ruthless when it comes to critiquing politicians. Do they ever consider mental health? Just hearing them annihilate Liz Truss made me cringe. I have no opinion on the woman and understand her tenure as PM was fraught with bad decisions, but the attack by the commentators was so vicious. I am not sure why politicians have to put up with these attacks. In any other job, people would be sacked for such viscous behaviour.”
