Trash
As a fan of Serial, I was excited about this podcast when I first heard about it. I listened to three episodes - which was generous - before stopping. It’s clearly one-sided and anti-law enforcement. The naive host, Annie, accepts anything the criminals say as truth while insinuating the police just want to kill Hispanics and African Americans. Notice how all of her interviews are with people locked-up, for the offenses in question, or in the case of the fourteen year old (at the time of the shooting) another crime. They are gang members and career criminals, and just about everything they say is untruthful. If you hate police, this podcast will be enjoyable to you. But anyone else should avoid it, because you’ll just become annoyed. Don’t waste the approximately three hours I did. I did find one part comical though In the first episode when the main criminal in the story says something to the effect of, “Why would I be carrying a gun? I was on probation.” This was in almost the same sentence as admitting to burglarizing somebody’s home. Haha! Dirtbags.

This podcast’s reporter stitches together detailed research to look at officer involved shootings in LA. It is engrossing to listen to and as you listen, it reminds you why investigative journalism is so important in our society.

This is basically cop hater, criminal sympathizer porn. People love to feel bad for criminals until it’s their house getting broken into and their child’s room getting ransacked.
