“As a fan of Serial, I was excited about this podcast when I first heard about it. I listened to three episodes - which was generous - before stopping. It’s clearly one-sided and anti-law enforcement. The naive host, Annie, accepts anything the criminals say as truth while insinuating the police just want to kill Hispanics and African Americans. Notice how all of her interviews are with people locked-up, for the offenses in question, or in the case of the fourteen year old (at the time of the shooting) another crime. They are gang members and career criminals, and just about everything they say is untruthful. If you hate police, this podcast will be enjoyable to you. But anyone else should avoid it, because you’ll just become annoyed. Don’t waste the approximately three hours I did. I did find one part comical though In the first episode when the main criminal in the story says something to the effect of, “Why would I be carrying a gun? I was on probation.” This was in almost the same sentence as admitting to burglarizing somebody’s home. Haha! Dirtbags.”
