“Hey guys, great stuff with your podcast. I have been listening to you for since the beginning of last season, and I always enjoy getting your unique perspectives on the show.
Do you think the humor in the new series is as good as the humor in ATLA? I'm 24 and I still find myself cracking up to everything from the 1st series (Flameo Hotman!). Unfortunately, I sometimes cringe whenever I watch the almost forced humor from Meelo or Bolin.
I feel like the creators shot for darker themes in the Korra series, but tried to overcompensate with humor that makes the series almost childlike at times. In ATLA on the other hand, I thought the balance of humor and mature themes was perfect - making the show more enjoyable to watch. I would love to hear your thoughts, thanks.”
