Eye opening
This was fascinating and very sad to listen to - I’m not from Canada and hadn’t heard survivors themselves talk about their experiences in the “schools” (if you can call them that) before. They were very brave to talk so publicly about the trauma they experienced. The podcast was well produced and I am glad I listened to it. However given how short each episode is it would’ve been nice if less time could have been taken up by adverts for other shows etc.

Terrible story told well. I can’t quite take in that this really happened. It’s genocide .Trying to wipe out a nations culture and traditions was not just Canada, Australia, USA & GB too.

Absolutely essential. Thoughtful, clear-eyed, and empathetic treatment of a story that bears repeating.
