Brilliant
There are no history podcasts better than this, except perhaps The History of Rome, also by Mike Duncan. The detail and the insight into the people, places, and events of each of the revolutions discussed is unsurpassed, and utterly captivating and listenable. Duncan honed his presentation skills in his first podcast seris (The History of Rome), and it pays off mightily in this successor. The monumental history of the Russian Revolution is the pièce de résistance, perhaps the finest history of this world-shaking event ever put to sound. I cannot wait for his next effort, though with this he could easily retire and rest happily on his laurels.
