A Masterpiece.
Talking about history is an art of balancing between minutia and the big picture. To not get lost in the weeds, yet be true to what actually happened. To not miss any interesting anecdotes, but not let them overtake the narrative. Mike Duncan succeeds at this with flying colors. You are never bored and yet always feel that immense research has gone into every episode.

Thrilled that Mike Duncan is back with a new podcast. So far, it is as well-researched and expertly presented as his History of Rome podcast. I'm looking forward to hearing more. If you haven't heard his History of Rome Podcast--download that one too. It should not be missed.Read full review »
