Great podcast, highly recommended!
I was sad when History of Rome was done, but Mike Duncan took me on yet another journey. For new listeners who may be wary of the massive amount of material I‘d recommend giving the fourth season (Haiti) a try first. While there will be some context missing without the French Revolution, the „narrative“ is still mostly self-contained. And it may be (imo) Duncan‘s best work in the podcast.

If you liked The History of Rome then you will love Revolutions. Duncan picks up where he left off with an engaging narrative filled with facts and light on personal opinion.

The second best history podcast available, after Duncan's own "The History Of Rome". Don't miss it.Read full review »

Glad to have Mike back. Since Rob Monaco of History of the world seems to be taking a well deserved break I am happy that I will now have another well thought out historical podcast to learn from
