Im currently an intern in IM residency and have been listening to this podcast on my commute. 1) the history behind the diseases and treatments make for some nice ~fun facts~ during rounds, 2) it does a great job teaching rheumatology to someone at the residency level, and 3) it is so...Read full review »

I love what you talked about in the episode called Long COVID: Some facts, unanswered questions and implications for rheumatology – Part 1 with Leonard Calabrese, DO. Here he talked about the history of pandemics & how they affected us. He also mentioned the syndromes to define long COVID.

Light but informative; funny! Love it! Shorter more frequent episodes preferred! Agree Dr Brown’s voice was made for radio (podcasts). Highly recommended for residents, students and attending a too!!

For all of us who miss having grand rounds post graduation, this podcast is a good option. I personally liked shorter and more clinically oriented topics. Also chatting with someone with Q&As is much more engaging than talking for 45 minutes without interruption. I listen to it in the car and...Read full review »

I can memorize facts with no emotion. But knowing the background story, what the original doctors went through, gives me this awesome sense of discovery like I was actually there with them. I dont listen to podcasts often. But if its stories like these, id listen even more. :)

I have listened to every episode and have really enjoyed each one. The deep dives into seemingly benign areas of medicine, like the history of steroids, bring these topics to life in a fascinating way. The mystery cases are engaging and delightful to listen to as they are unravelled by the host....Read full review »
