Today I am talking with Maine native Kristen Seavy, who is an actress and a True Crime podcaster, the host of Murder She Told about her hometown Serial Killer James Rodney Hicks. Newport Police Chief Jim Ricker goes to question Hicks, and he quickly realizes that Jerilyn may not be the only person who was last seen with this man, and that they both might not actually be missing... He learns that in 1977, Jennie Cyr, the former wife of James Hicks just... disappeared. She “ran off with a lover,” claimed Hicks. Ricker calls up the Cyr family, and they all have the same story: Jennie didn’t run off. Jennie was dead. And they knew exactly who was responsible...
