Truly thought-provoking and full of wisdom
This podcast is for people “wrestling with how to be real in the midst of rampant superficiality and it’s causing you to overthink, be too guarded and not live your potential” – which is, let’s admit it, pretty much all of us, at least some of the time. BUT this is nevertheless an excellent new podcast and well worth a listen. Each episode is around 40-50 minutes and so far, I’ve listened to the first two. The first is about our modern obsession with perfection. The whole episode is calming and thought-provoking; both Juliet and Carla sound as if they’ve been making podcasts for years – which in a way they have because they have both been having the kind of conversations they have on this podcast for years. If you’re working from home or if you’ve had the mixed blessing of going back to an office, school or other workplace, the Riffing on Realness podcast is well worth 40 minutes of your time at lunch or at the end of the your day to get you thinking about what really matters in life and, most importantly, how THINKING itself is often the one and only thing between you and an unfiltered, calm and freeing acceptance that things are the way they are in life, and that’s ok. It’s ok to feel what you feel. You don’t need to feed any thinking, particularly negative thinking, with any more attention than a brief acknowledgement that it is all just thought, before getting on with your day. I haven’t got space here to explain more about the 3 Principles but they’re well worth exploring. Start by listening to Juliet and Carla talking – and Juliet has a wonderful and freeing insight into perfection to end the first episode. The second episode explores ways in which we can be quiet and allow us to listen to our own inner wisdom. There’s plenty of wisdom here to get you started. Sent from Mail for Windows 10
