Herbie does it again
Herbie Hancock is one of the great innovators in the area of jazz. Wroking with other musicians as well as his own work is part of the evolution of Jazz in all that is good about it. If you have listened to the album, these podcosts are the liner notes (a relic of albums). In Jazz albums, liner notes have been very key - Jazz music is complex and heraring what the composer/arramger/producer was thinking as they created the work is always interesting and part of what makes Jazz so unique. So once again, Herbie Hancock has done something unitque and (r)evolutionary, putting the liner notes into a podcoast. I would hope that future releases of this CD would include these extraordinary "liner' for the enjoyment of the listeniers.Read full review »
