Awesome for Hardcore Fans!
As a Fan of BK’s since Slapstick, and by extension all the fine dudes he’s collaborated with, this podcast is truly awesome. Getting the backstory on all of these records fills in so many blanks in the TLA mythology. Hearing about their growth as a band, where they were at in their lives for each record, and what they were trying to accomplish is fascinating. My only criticism is the host interjects a lot of his own commentary when the focus should be on Brendan’s insight on each song/record/story. Adoration or criticism from the host is much less valuable than asking the right questions to get Brendan to interesting revelations. Looking forward to each episode!

If you think you like or even enjoy the Lawrence Arms, after listening to this you’ll feel like you only ever scratched...Read full review »
