Jeremy isn’t really interviewing, he just trying to make whomever he’s talking to think he’s cool
threeorangewhips82 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/12/24
Excellent podcast! Jeremy is a seasoned and professional host. Fantastic choice of guest…which are not always the easiest to get. I enjoy that the show gets directly to the show, and not 10 minutes of build up.

This podcast would be far better if Mitch would ask more fan based questions for the artists he is interviewing. For example how did Lawrence Gowan feel about replacing Dennis Deyoung etc. for too often it’s just a Pal friendly conversation without much content

Lots of music podcasts make it about the hosts but these guys really know how to make the artists shine! Genuinely fun to listen to, a great show indeed.

Gave a second chance because of annoying it is to listen to him cut people off and rush the interviews. Rushs the interviews. Very short interviews also.

Great rock podcast keep up the great work

These two talking to artists are some of the most fluid and easy fly on the wall experience I’ve come across on a podcast! The combo of deep analysis and gear talk is unmatched in the music interview world. Thank you!

This guy interviews Terry Brown and says Spirit of THE Radio is his favorite Rush song. Obnoxious interviewer who fails to do his research with most every interview I’ve heard. He’s also horrible with “reading” his guests and “taking the hint” when he’s annoying an artist. Absolutely cringeworthy.

This is by far the poor man’s Eddie Trunk of an interview. Most interviews sound like he skimmed the Wikipedia page five minutes before and managed to remember it. Would have been great if he did that on the Jordan Rudes interview. Asking about a band member who hasn’t been in the band for 10...Read full review »

Love interviewing style but always mentioning “we are running out of time” is a bit strange as it is a podcast. Would love to hear a little more depth in the subject matter rather than “terrestrial” radio short style interviews about the new stuff coming up … keep em for an hour and let em spill...Read full review »

Welcome back Donnie Vie to the show. This was a fun interview because Donnie seems very content, happy and positive about himself today and the future. The music world needs more Donnie Vie music and he has certainly written enough songs to describe him as a genius.

Mitch is a hypocritical, two faced bald midget.

Mitch, I just happened upon your podcast. I love it. Not your standard rock interviews. You ask piercing, but respectful questions. You’re a rock music fan with a breadth of knowledge and experience. I like that your interviews are about 30 minutes. I agree with what you and Tommy Shaw talked...Read full review »

Every episode is full of something cool. In fact, some of my favorite interviews were with artists I wasn’t a fan of. Mitch interviews all the players - not just the bands, but the producers, the managers, the writer, as well as the bands. In fact, it’s thanks to Mitch that I have become a fan of...Read full review »

At the onset of the global pandemic, Mitch hinted, with much frustration and what sounded like a major case of burnout, that he was gonna slow down with his podcasts! As Coronavirus put a halt to the world, Mitch has actually upped his output and the quality of his podcasts and guests (already a...Read full review »

This Clevelander has been listening to many of Mitch’s podcasts lately. This would’ve happened without the current world situation. What I like about this podcast are the random guests Mitch has on. I may have assumed he was more pigeoned holed, but as I scrolled through his episodes I saw a nice...Read full review »

Can’t believe you published the interview with Bob Kulick. He trashed so many people and wonders why people don’t want to work with him. But publishing that interview for click bait was not cool, unless you wanted be isolated from all the people he slammed

Mitch asks really well researched and insightful questions, and importantly doesn’t interrupt the people he’s interviewing. Love technical depth he gets into without getting boring. Not to put down Trunk, but wish he wouldn’t make it all about him.

Good interviews, BUT...they need to pay some attention to the levels in production/post-production. Intro loud (so I set my volume), ML starts to talk (barely audible, so I re-adjust my volume), guest starts to talk (loud compared to ML, so now I have to drive with my hand on the volume - no...Read full review »

Mitch always has wonderful guests and his interviews are enjoyable. I love any podcast that deals with rock music and this one is always a great listen.

Mitch does good interviews. And he wins bonus points for his lack of obnoxious demeanor which seems to be problemmatic for other rock podcasters.

Mitch loves music and loves interviewing people who love music. Don’t let any reviews sway you otherwise. Mitch talks to the here and now and the then and when and treats them all with the same love and respect. He’s top notch and so are the interviews. I love this podcast. It cuts out the b.s. and gets directly to delivering the goods! Great content knowledge from both!

Boring podcast with a vanilla host. He only asks the more generic questions that most fans know about. Such a boring and safe podcast that leans to heavily on the fake poser rock and hair metal.

Mitch might very well be the worst interviewer I’ve ever heard. He interrupts his guests, doesn’t seem to listen to them or brushes off what they are have just said and moves on to the next topic, he stumbles over his words, and seems to have extremely poor conversational ability overall. Mitch is at his core a fan of rock and metal and that comes across in his interviews. Very knowledgeable and gets his great lineup of guests to give you insights into their past, present and future in a way only a true fan of the genre can do. Rock on!

When Mitch gets cooking on an interview it's great. The news stuff with the guy from Firehouse is OK but the This Day in Rock/This Day in Metal from a recent episode seemed misplaced.
