A Most Excellent Podcast
The first episode had me on the fence and it took me a while to get back to it and get through the next three or so. I try to listen to a few episodes to judge whether or not I will continue. By the fourth or fifth episode, I was hooked. I really enjoy that it is easy to tell that all of you are friends and have been playing for some time together. The DM's (Mark's) voice acting is enjoyable, especially the old-timey intro and outro. I also enjoy Christine's commitment to voice acting. Erik's voice acting is sufficiently terrible enough to emulate most of my friends' (and my) attempts at a Scots accent so is very relatable. Brian's commitment to character is something I strive to emulate myself. And Cliff's portrayal as someone needing tutelage is spot on. I found the party origin to be an original spin that helps relieve everyone of asking why they stick together. The editing and sound work also make Role Radio a good listen. My only issue, small though it is, is that Brian's and Cliff's regular voices sound somewhat the same to me and I sometimes lose track of who is talking out of character. But of course that's soon solved by continuing to listen... and I will.Read full review »

As someone who rarely finds a reason to listen to podcasts, this one had me hooked after the very first episode. The players are having so much fun and the DM’s dry-like-a-desert style of humor often has me headed to the ER for sedatives. This is the best thing in my life and I need it to continue.

The characters really develop over time, and the adventure feels unique and exciting. Really funny players too, the jokes are either genuinely hilarious or so ironically dumb that they’re funny. Certainly a bit slower in the first few episodes, but 100% worth sticking with it for the long term....Read full review »

This is a great podcast cast. I do not get the feeling that crucial or dramatic non combat interaction with NPc and developments for PC are stage , pre plan or written and a Ted out. Love the party interactions and it fells like a campaign I have played or DM. It a addictive podcast so I hope it...Read full review »
