The only thing between the Final Hazard and freedom are the four fighting members of Kurozakura.  It's time to fight for their lives.

Yoshiko walks in on Celeste holding a bloody sword and Davey doubled over in pain.  She takes action, then teams up with others to search the house.  Unbeknownst to them, they are running out of time as Souko makes plans to leave the dream as soon as possible...

Shibuya is AEGIS' star pupil, a ruthless and relentless soldier who will do anything to protect Halcyon City, no matter who she hurts.  Reversal, conversely, is a poor superhero and leader; everyone he cares about is dead, and he failed to protect them.  There is nothing they can do to change this.  Yet desperate pleas ring in their ears; faint but powerful words that may be their only hope of salvation...

Takehiro confronts Mayor Souko and learns the horrible truth. He leaves the office to find his friends, but promises to return—alone.  Kim finds himself comforting a panicked Davey, but they steel their resolve to confront Pilgrim.  Celeste tries to take Yoshiko out of AEGIS so they can help their friends, but Willow Wolf has some words for her former protege...

Teen heroes Emerald Strike, Diamond Punch, and Papillon help Red Rogue suppress a monster downtown and discuss their next course of action.  They realize they have to go to city hall to solve this once and for all, but before anything else happens, Celeste has a dinner date.  Davey has a strange encounter with his brother, and Kim's mother offers her son some advice...

Increasingly frustrated by the day's events, Celeste seeks out the only other person who's insisting everything is wrong.  While they come to grips with startling revelations, Kim's mood only continues to sour in debate club as he has a heated and violent encounter with the teacher leading it.  Yoshiko is doing her best not to worry too much about her math test from earlier in the day, but even her date with Davey brings its own difficulties...

Lunchtime rolls around at Halcyon's elaborate high school and some of the students experience cracks in their daily routine—and for others, those cracks get worse.  Takehiro wants to fight back, and tries to recruit others to his cause.  Kim has freakout and lashes out at Celeste, and Yoshiko is forced to choose between her perfect life and her friend's pleas...

The sun rises on another perfect day in Halcyon and five teenagers greet the morning.  Celeste Blake wakes up to her sister congratulating her on a good stream, as always.  Red Rogue's two proteges, Yoshiko Yamaguchi and Takehiro Wakamoto, deal with their respective fussy, overly caring parents.  Kim Nguyen gets his younger siblings ready for school with his own after-school schedule cleared for video games, and Davey Domingos almost forgets his twin brother in the comfortable chaos of home...

Doomzone faces down two Kurozakura agents; eliminating one from the fight, he and Papillon begin a pitched battle with the other.  Making the best of a bad situation, Reversal finally makes some calls for backup.  Black Cavalier and Logan reunite with their friends, and Giger finally meets mother...

The rest of the Final Hazard arrives at the abandoned hospital where Kim is being kept.  Using Giger's powers, they're able to track Kim's whereabouts accurately, but the full power of Kurozakura is out to stop the team.  They split up to improve their chances; Davey fights both people and himself, and Giger makes another rash decision.  Reversal, however, refuses to stop fighting...

Celeste meets Gacha!PON so she can tell her to stop lying on social media. While those two struggle through miscommunication, Black Cavalier and Giger begin to worry about Kim's lack of communication and start to organize a search party.  What they couldn't possibly imagine is the truth: that Kim is waking up to talk to someone very special...

Kim finds himself alone in a rotting building with no outgoing cell reception.  His attempt to escape, however, starts off going well—almost suspiciously well.  As he reaches his first stumbling block, Celeste is dealing with a problem of her own: setting up a meeting with Gacha!PON, who has been lying about joining the Final Hazard online.  While Giger and Yoshiko do their best to decompress after a rough day, Davey and his mother sit down for a difficult conversation...

Black Cavalier heads to AEGIS headquarters to return Andi's notebook. On the way, she passes by the Memorial Part and a certain team member, facing an inevitable, difficult conversation. Meanwhile, Reversal begins his investigation into Oscar's framing in earnest, visiting the jewelry store and a nearby superhero merchandise outlet. When hero Red Rogue shows up to offer help, Kim makes a breakthrough in the case...

Davey and Celeste both get in contact with Yoshiko, and the three head to the Cape 'n' Shake to get her side of the story.  They comfort her and give her advice, though maybe not precisely what she wants to hear.  Outside AEGIS headquarters, Kim asks Giger for his side of the story, and a frienzied Giger asks a terrible question.  With the team fracturing around this conflict, Giger finds comfort in an unexpected ally on the team...

Black Cavalier pulls Giger aside, her suspicisions about his relationship to Kurozakura too strong not to broach.  Unfortunately, she doesn't get the results she wants, and Giger's mood suffers as well.  There's no time for the team to comfort either of them, however, as Kim recieves a call from Oscar with an emergency: he's been arresting by AEGIS for a crime he couldn't have committed...

After the heroes rest and recouperate from the attack on Columbia, it's time to start asking questions.  Black Cavalier and Giger call Logan and Red Rogue to decide what to do with the strange, destructive lamp.  Reversal and Papillon meet with the now-conscious culprit and deploy their unique, friendly method of interrogation.  And Davey visits his mother in the hospital, only to have an unexpected confrontation...

Following Davey's premonition of doom, the Final Hazard heads to Columbia to face a mysterious new foe.  As they go about creating an evacuation plan for the civilians at the laboratory, Black Cavalier and Giger arrive, ready to fight as a full team once more.  First order of business: separate the fire-and-light-flinging villainess from her lamp...

At the party, Papillon and Doomzone find themselves uncomfortably cornered by adult heroes who think they know best.  Fortunately, they have friends willing to throw themselves into the line of fire; unfortunately, that means Black Cavalier and Reversal navigate their own awkward conversations.  At city hall, Giger's plan to plant a camera in the mayor's office goes from great to bad as a guard and a young woman hear him before he gets out—and that's not even the most dire thing in store this...

The party celebrating Golden Boy's five years of service draws ever closer, and final plans are put into place.  Celeste helps Giger find something suitable to wear to a formal gathering, and along the way meet starstruck strangers and old friends.  Meanwhile, Kim and Yoshiko case city hall to find a way into Mayor Quovis' office.  As their plan to spy on the Mayor falls into place, the hour of the event draws ever nearer, and the party has its own share of challenges...

As the Final Hazard slowly settles back into the routine of school, they're thankful for the weekend to come.  Celeste has a hot date with Phase, but first she has to face a great peril alone: meeting the parents of her sweetheart.  Over at the Power Punch, Kim forces Davey to have nice, normal time—and renews his friendly rivalry with W33D in the process.  When it's time to get back to heroing, the team comes up with a devious plan to execute during Mayor Quovis' celebratory dinner...

After the one-sided loss against the signage-wielding metahuman, the Final Hazard heads to Halcyon University's medical facilities to regroup and recover.  Giger returns to the team as they discuss the plan of attack.  As Doomzone comes to, he struggles with not only the metahuman's words but also the difficulties he's experienced with his own powers.  And if things weren't bad enough, Papillon has news to share with the team...

The motley crew of heroes, with Jeb's help, breaks into the forbidden sections of Occultar Academy's library.  There, they find a suspiciously normal book and a terrifyingly familiar foe.  These events lead them ever deeper into the mystery, and as they interview more students the pieces fall into place...

A school for magically-gifted students finds itself in peril, and the headmaster makes contact with a powerful sorceress from another dimension.  The sorceress does not wish to intervene directly, but she puts out a call across every universe for aid.   Heroes rise to answer, whether they know where they are headed or not.  Can these colorful characters from all different walks of life learn to work together and uncover the mysteries haunting the school?

It's a normal afternoon: Kim plays a game with his boyfriend, Celeste checks her professional evil, and Giger visits his quasi-guardian Logan to talk about Kurozakura.  Yoshiko gets a visit from her parole officer, who takes her out to do hero work, where they find something terrible in progress: Davey's afternoon with his mother has been interrupted by a peculiarly resolute metahuman...
