Great treatment for COVID
Got COVID around New Years, and started spending whatever time I wasn't sleeping listening to this podcast. It's interesting and hilarious enough that it managed to distract me from how truly terrible I felt! Thanks, Rob and Jamie! EDIT (because iTunes apparently only lets you leave one review): I especially enjoyed in the S2 when they’re covering the Byzantine Romans and Rob often does research not just into the Byzantine sources, or just Holy Roman Empire sources, but they cover Caliphate sources as well, giving it a more clear and possibly honest view of what was going on. Still love this show all around, even though I’m doing a bit better from the COVID— only mild long covid symptoms that this podcast still works as a treatment for (I am not a doctor)Read full review »

The inclusion of the character Jeff, Roger and Rockey is very funny and you are always on edge when Roger turns up or if Jeff is gonna die. I highly recommend...Read full review »
