EDIT (because iTunes apparently only lets you leave one review): I especially enjoyed in the S2 when they’re covering the Byzantine Romans and Rob often does research not just into the Byzantine sources, or just Holy Roman Empire sources, but they cover Caliphate sources as well, giving it a more clear and possibly honest view of what was going on. Still love this show all around, even though I’m doing a bit better from the COVID— only mild long covid symptoms that this podcast still works as a treatment for (I am not a doctor)”Read full review »
