“I was looking for a podcast to listen to before a trip to Rome and after trying out some of the drier ones, I came across Totalus Rankium. I have loved very few things as much as this podcast. In fact, I listened to 80 episodes in two months, which I just realized is terrifiying. But completely worth it. I was going through the Aurelian walls while listening to the Aurelian episode and got chills. I had been to Rome numerous times before but looking at Trajan's Forum and realizing it used to be a hill put it in a completely new perspective. I even took like 20 pictures of the remains of the base of the giant Nero statue outside the Colosseum which I wouldn't have known about without them. Rob and Jamie are hilarious and I actually laugh out loud listening to them just about every episode. They have also truly deepened my knowledge for Roman history more than I could have ever imagined and made my trip my best one yet. I can't thank them enough for the amount of joy they've brought me.
