Ron Ananian, The Car Doctor started a tradition over 20 years ago interviewing his Uncle, First Lt. Steven Ananian of the 339th FG, 8th Air Force. Steve served during WW2 flying bomber escort into Germany. In this interview from 2011 Uncle Steve as we have all come to know him talks about his time in service, what it was like to fly and service aircraft under combat conditions closing out his interview with some thoughts on the true meaning of Memorial Day.
