Hockey and the San Diego Chicken discussed by a hillbilly with a rug on his head. The final episode couldn’t be any worse. Bye bye

I appreciate the behind-the-scenes philosophy on decisions, angles & tv formats. Mixing personal stories makes it extra special and I enjoy sitting under the learning tree

I really appreciate you continuing to carry the torch for Southeastern and Continental Championship Wrestling and all of the people that make it great. It’s a wonderful lineage and legacy. You’re filling a void that was created when the territories ended. Thank you very much, and God Bless us all!

I grew up in upper East Tennessee, and Gulas and Welch was what I grew up with. I used to attend the live shows at the Johnson City Rec, before Freedom Hall was ever built. I enjoy the stories immensely. Thanks for sharing the history. No other show like it. Second Review: I NEVER miss the Stud...Read full review »

During Last’s tenure this show was pretty good, and Fuller seemed to be getting comfortable with the idea of being straight with the audience. With Bowdren, it’s back to a kayfabe stream with a vengeance.

While charming is not a word you hear often when it comes to wrestling... spend five minutes listening to this podcast, and you’ll be won over by Ron Fuller. Few can spin a yarn, like The Tennessee Stud.

Fuller is very entertaining to listen to but the other guy kills it for me. it is the same guy who has a couple other shows in which he likes the sound of his own voice and tries to make things about himself. He is pretentious and ostentatious and detracts from every podcast he is on. But...Read full review »

all the potential for an entertaining podcast is ruined by the cohost who just wont shut up. getting rid of that guy is what is needed.

If you love history, wrestling and great story telling, then this is the perfect podcast for you. It’s such an enjoyable part of my day to listen and hear about a time when wrestling was much better than it is today.

This podcast is about so much more than wrestling. This is one of the great untold stories of a large piece of America in life in the last 100 years.

Awesome storytelling from Ron Fuller. Really great to listen to in order because Ron covers his family’s history in the business, and then his own involvement, in chronological order. The show really hits a new stride once it gets into him running his own territory in Tennessee. The episodes...Read full review »

I grew up watching wrestling and was always a huge fan of the Tennessee Stud and his family. However I was totally in the dark about the their history. I’m listening now from the beginning and loving every episode. If you’re a fan of old school wrestling this is a must listen!

Great memories especially learning about Continental, the ”lost territory”. I remember catching it while at college in Tallahassee and being blown away by how dynamic it was in comparison to the WWF I’d grown up in New Jersey.

Ron Fuller knows how to tell a story. On top of that, the stories that he tells are tremendous. Do yourself a favor and listen to his tales about the early days of the Fuller/Welch family. It’s an era that doesn’t get a ton of coverage, and Ron does a great job bringing it to light.
