Awesome!
Really enjoying this podcast. I’m a Nelson County native and Route 29 is the hub for transportation to Lynchburg or Charlottesville, or really anywhere for that matter. I was young when these events happened, but with the disappearances in Charlottesville and Alexis Murphy (my hometown), this podcast really hits home and can’t imagine the fear people were feeling during this time. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Woody when we worked for the same organization and knew he was a talented guy, but man, he and his wife are doing a phenomenal job with this podcast. I really wish the episodes were longer though. Sometimes I feel as if I hear more music than the story/dialogue (don’t get me wrong, the music sets/reflects the mood for the podcast).
