“I lasted about 1.5 episodes before I realized this story wasn’t really about Ruby, which by the way, isn’t that interesting anyway. The main storyline for this podcast is about the podcaster’s trials and tribulations as a brown person in a white world. Basically the same self-discovery story about being proud of who you are unapologetically like a thousand other self-help, pat-yourself-on-the-back podcasts out there today. Save yourself the disappointment and just read Rubirosa’s Wikipedia page or maybe read/listen to Atlas Shrugged or Hamlet or something else you’ve been putting off for several years.”
