“The humor is offbeat and irreverent, but the players and Branson always seem to know when to pull back and be serious. The ending of the first campaign hit me harder than the ending of The Good Place, which is coincidentally one of the closest examples of absurd comedy-focused character-driven media I can think of to compare it to. You can tell the players are all comfortable with each other and it honestly sounds like one of the best play experiences you could hope for at a DnD table.”
