Bias & selective criticism
As much as I really enjoy listening to this podcast and the quality of the punditry and journalism for the most part, I do think that it is overly critical of England and Eddie Jones. Where is the criticism of Gregor Townsend? Still no six nations titles, their best performance was last year with no fans. For me, for a team who has underperformed so consistently with fans, that doesn’t fully count. They’ve done nothing with a great team. I don’t buy the small nation argument, look at Portugal, Holland in Football. Look at Wales. It’s nonsense. Look at Eddie Jones, look at his win ratio, look at his W cup record, look at his number of six nations titles. Yes, he does deserve some criticism for their recent form but some context please!!! Why don’t the English pundits ever defend him Chris, Matt, Ugo?

Great works lads. The pod is a great metaphor for the game itself, Chris is the gobby, cheeky young scrum half and Ugo the cynical, old prop who's seen it all. Keep it up!Read full review »
