These guys have kept me sane in lockdown Whoever wrote in to criticise DC recently is a fool - DC keeps it real Sara Orchard is awesome- knowledgeable AND entertaining 🤩

Thank you for amending the lack recognition of Sarah McKenna following the Red Roses v Italy. Although Sarah worked her socks off for another 80 minutes, assisting a try, she didn’t make the score. Do I do appreciate the welcome justified comments. Once again thank you.

Always a great pod week after week. Danny is my favourite player and love watching ugo on question of sport. Chris knows his stuff. Love listening to the pod about all depths of rugby. I like the varied pundits who really know their stuff about rugby. BUT they are so negative all the time that it’s a little depressing & is putting me off watching England/rugby (which is the opposite of what they’re always saying needs to improve). Not saying we need a rose tinted view, but...Read full review »

Loved this pod when it was weekly and with DC, Ugo, Ashy and Chris But I can’t bare the continuing slamming of Eddie and England by the other nation presenters, it’s F***ing booring old men who have no insight, can you get opinions of ex players who all have great things to say from actual...Read full review »

As much as I really enjoy listening to this podcast and the quality of the punditry and journalism for the most part, I do think that it is overly critical of England and Eddie Jones. Where is the criticism of Gregor Townsend? Still no six nations titles, their best performance was last year with...Read full review »

Really enjoy this pod. Consistently good. But Chris Jones, please stop talking over or interrupting your guests. Frankly it’s annoying and you get less from the conversation as a result. Cheers!

Been listening for years and now will stop. Chris Jones and Dawson seem to make a living from being critical of Eddie. Win, lose he’s always at fault and its boring that Dawson seems go thing the only way he can stay relevant is critiquing whatever England do. Change the record.

Sam Warburton and Dylan Hartley provide an informative, interesting an empathetic review of the weekend, ably chaired by Ugo. Great pod, thanks

Hi Chris, love the pod, great mix of content and humour with all the pundits. I was just wondering what your guys thoughts are on what I feel is the biggest problem facing rugby right now: the poor standard of officiating. Loving the pod as always, but for those of us who can’t watch the games live (they’re overnight in my time zone) can you please not give the results away in the post game pod!!? I need a day to catch up on the replays. Cheers

This week the podcast feels like it is moving away from a traditional podcast format, too much like radio or television. Too formal and not like friends talking about rugby like it usually is with the lads. Love the podcast, but if this is the way it is going I think it’s moving in the wrong way.

Great if you’re a Harlequins fan, pretty rubbish if you’re not. Seems every conversation is rounded off with a Quins anecdote again and again. Chris Jones is excellent, the podcast is in desperate need of a non Quins voice.
Ally14236 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/09/22
If this was a podcast for the premiership it would be good, unfortunately it’s let down by being so Anglo-centric. Token guests from Ulster and Glasgow etc once in a while does nothing to even it out. English show hosted by ex English players for the benefit of Gallagher Premiership fans. BBC? No.

Gents, we need to get back to a more balanced pod with differing views. My favourite moment this was talking about unexpected call up of a Welsh lad playing down at Sandy Park. Within 2 sentences, the Quins angle was thrust into the conversation. Bit more variety please :)

If you’re a Quins fan it’s great. Quins are discussed every week. The conversations here are okay and the podcast flows but there is a distinct lack of detail and analysis. General comments were made about the Lions’ game and rugby in general. Interesting comment about ‘show me the estimated squad without Sinkler’ Almost every squad chosen by pods and journalists outwith England did not have him in as his scrum work is nowhere near as good as those chosen. I suspect he is not even first reserve.
