Informative and entertaining
This is that rare podcast: informative, entertaining and, most importantly, local. It's not as comprehensive or as academic as a book, but it's a very interesting overview of things our Year 9 and 10 curriculum developers perhaps did not prioritise in their quest for three consecutive iterations of the history of Aboriginal conquest and the Stolen Generations. Because as important as that topic is, it's had the unfortunate effect of colouring my perception of high school history (this is all I remember of the subject) and making me absolutely disinclined to visit the topic again.Read full review »

Very enjoyable podcast. Lighthearted and entertaining. But the way they drop in an accent every time they read a quote is painfully cringeworthy. It wasn't funny in the first episode and the joke hasn't gotten any fresher. Tone that down a bit and you're golden.Read full review »
