The best running podcast anywhere right now.
The best running podcast out there right now. Love it. Gary and Edwina are a great pairing and it’s clear that are able to speak from experience whilst remaining down to earth and relatable. It’s hard to believe they haven’t actually met yet and it’s good to hear from their experiences of juggling family, work and busy training schedules and I think they set a really good example to anyone aspiring to achieve their goals. The guest speakers and content are of a useful, consistent and incredibly high standard and it’s such a great way to learn from others, in the perfect format to listen to whilst out on a long run. I think this show epitomises the warmth of the trail/ultra running community and our desire to support and help better each other. I love their ability to not take things too seriously - it has a nic’ conversational feel with some good laughs and well-natured banter. Special mention to Gary for a series of chance meetings that have made two races unequivocally better for me. Firstly at London Marathon 2021 for being a wonderful room mate in a hostel where I was unsure what to expect (still can’t believe we met at halfway despite being in different start pens!) and then by vicariously setting up a great partnership between myself and Elaine Bisson that helped us power through from the Saturday night to Monday morning on the Northern Traverse 2022. Keep up the great work!
