This is the third year of this event. Tom was coach and club dynamo for the first 10 years and inspired both adults and juveniles with his exemplary work over the years. This race has now become an annual event in Tom's memory. We look forward to welcoming you all to Ardfert again this year for this event. The run/walk will commence in the Clonakilty Park Hotel, taking the runners down the idyllic Inchydoney Road and over the first Causeway, past the Clogheen Cottages and back to the Clonakilty Park Hotel for finish line refreshments with proceeds going to both Cancer Connect & Irish Red Cross. Hosted by: Riverstick Kinsale Athletic Club & Kinsale Community School. The race is set in the beautiful surrounds of Kinsale on a course with real potential for PBs with a fast final 5 mile net downhill section. This race will start and finish in Killarney town centre. The entry fee includes a race t-shirt and postage of race number, up until March 21st 2024. For entries after this date, number and t-shirt must be collected on the day of the event. - Cash prizes for the first three male and female finishers, as well as prizes for wheelchair athletes and visually impaired athletes.
