“An amazing podcast even for table top RPG newbies such as myself. I listen to this while at work so I'm already halfway occupied. Even then and despite my lack of table top RPG knowledge this is such an easy podcast to keep up with.
Core mechanics are explained on a need to know basis so you aren't overloaded with information. I watched episode zero which did great explaining the main character mechanics before the game started in episode 1. And oh did the game start!
The storyline is great. It's gripping and well detailed. The Game Master and players provide excellent narrative and role playing. On several occasions I've found myself laughing out loud at my computer, trying to retain it to not look crazy!
The players think outside the box, keeping it fresh and keeping me wondering what they're going to do next. Each player lives their character and traits to great effect. Long story short, a fantastic podcast. The only downside is the week wait between episodes but boy is it be worth the wait!”Read full review »
