Best Sailor Moon Podcast by Chris Sims and Jordan White
How has nobody reviewed this yet? I listened to this without ever having seen Sailor Moon before (being a fan of both of the regular hosts), and their passion for the show made me think "this sounds insane yet totally fun. Must watch". I've been following along with every episode since, and it brings a whole other level of fun to what are already great episodes. The hosts' adoration of the material is straight up addictive, and if you listen to any other of Sims' podcasts, he's been consistently on top form here. The guests that they rotate have also been great, and thus far have kept the show feeling quite fresh. As an aside, I suspect I may be the only person who is seeing these episodes for the first time as I listen to the podcast, but that's brought me nothing but delight. PROS: The hosts are not only talented podcasters, but their love of the source material is so palpable you could cut it with a moon tiara Excellent rotating guests keep the format very fresh Ending segment "Sailor Business Says" is fun, where a lot of recurring podcast segments tend to seem like baggage COMPARISON TO YOUNG ADULT NOVELIZATIONS CONS: As a Sailor Moon newbie some of what they talk about goes over my head, especially familiarity with multiple versions of the show Could benefit from a few more audio samples of the episode they're reviewingRead full review »

This show's great. Not only is it fun hearing the recaps of the episodes from so long ago, but the hosts and guests are all charming and enjoyable to listen to. Stop banning questions though!Read full review »

That Chris guy really makes it hard to listen to this. Some of the bits he thinks are funny he makes them last too long. It was better in the beginning when they were better informed and could contrast between versions. The guest are usually the best part.
