As a first time listener, I was hoping this podcast would deliver what it promised - an interesting travelogue of arizona life. Couldn’t get through even one episode without this annoying foreigner spewing liberal tripe about gun control, prayer in schools, etc., and then having the audacity to...Read full review »

I first found you with American Vigilante. And was hooked. I’m at week 32 in your desert diary. I’ve never been so intrigued by a person’s adventure. I’m a bit of a Anglophile. Love the accent and the story. Sorry about your mum and your cat. If you’d ever have the time I’d love to share my life...Read full review »

Sam is a breath of fresh British air. Initially, I discovered her via American Vigilante, another podcast gem, which drew me in with skilled storytelling and infectious energy. I could (and do) listen to Sam for hours on end.

Due to the nature of my job i listen to a lot of podcasts and yours is an excellent. You are very brave. Love that you can drive to LA in 6 hrs. Think the guy from American Vigilante is a bit of a storyteller though.

I read a few reviews and it made me chuckle because my journey to this podcast was the same! Red handed, the American vigilante then this one… I devoured the the American vigilante, and the red handed ladies were correct, what a laugh she has!!

I absolutely love listening to these musings, especially on a wet, dull morning up here in the foothills of the Pennines. I know you are very busy but could you give us a longer podcast please, say15 to 20 minutes? Please, please? I feel 8 minutes or so is becoming mung irritating.

Found Sam’s podcast by accident. Have binged listened to the first 30 episodes over 3 nights, going to bed far too late. They are very easy to listen too, make you laugh, make you smile, make you cry and everything in between. Thank you Sam, very entertaining.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Sam Walker gives British expats a bit of a bad name.
